The Opportunity
The Business Line Risk Technology Principal will be responsible for implementing various component of the IT risk management program as well as risk reporting for the Ally Corporate Technology (ACT) team. The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders including the Ally Corporate Technology (ACT) leadership team, IPRM, business leaders, and technology project and operations teams to provide technology risk assessments and lead risk remediation efforts.

The Work Itself
- Coordinate and manage IT risks and issues across Ally Corporate Technology (ACT)
- Develop and present risk reports and action plans to business partners and senior management via risk routines.
- Consult with technology and business partners to develop action plans for issues and manage risk remediation efforts.
- Serve as the vendor risk point of contact for Ally Corporate Technology (ACT) suppliers for risk related matters.
- Prepare materials for Enterprise IT Risk routines and Business Risk Forums.
- Coordinate the resolution of open control issues for Ally Corporate Technology (ACT) including audit, compliance, regulatory, vendor, and self- identified issues.
- Act as the SOX Coordinator for Ally Bank IT in partnership with sustain leads that manage identified SOX applications.
- Lead risk project and process improvement efforts for Ally Corporate Technology (ACT).
- Partner and collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Information Security teams to ensure alignment and proper risk treatments.
- Participate in business and IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA).
- Other duties as required.
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications * 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience * High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications * 5+ years of IT, Risk Management or related experience. * Financial Services experience. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. * Strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships. * Critical Thinker with excellent problem solving skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong Project and Process Management skills. * Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization including executive leadership and to comprehend business imperatives. * Ability to function in a matrix organization. * Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills. * Experience using the Archer tool.

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
