Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer / Lumber Piler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently stacking, organizing, and preparing lumber for shipment. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth operations within our manufacturing, supporting the production process and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Safely lift, carry, and position lumber
- Stack lumber accurately according to size, type, and destination to optimize space and ensure stability
- Band stacked lumber for loading
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift continually
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials safely
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
