Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interaction with sales engineer/customers, as needed, to provide engineering support, clarification and technical documentation for orders and projects.
- Prepare and review related documents such as ITP, pump test reports, specifications, etc.
- Lead projects/special orders from the beginning to completion
- Review and analyze pump design and test results and support product improvement.
- Lead product trouble shooting for testing, manufacturing, and field service.
- Develop pump selection spreadsheet and support pump selection software for sales team.
- Field service technical support.
- Support Marketing in evaluation of competitor offerings.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Solve technical issues independently with supports from team.
- Excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other engineers, shop technicians, sales, customers, and vendors.
- Intermittent travel may be required, both domestic and international.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 3+ Years of application/project engineering experience.
- Centrifugal pump experience preferred.
- Familiarity with industry specification for pump, piping and valves preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. Experience with Solidworks, CFD and VB preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required.
Physical Demands
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
