Member Services Representative

Position Summary
The Member Services Representative serves as the frontline representative for members, delivering exceptional service and administrative support across a variety of banking functions. This role requires a welcoming personality, strong communication skills, and a mindset geared toward ownership, accountability, and problem-solving. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in customer-facing environments, embrace responsibility, and take initiative-especially when challenges arise.
Key ResponsibilitiesMember Service & Account Support
Open, close, and maintain member accounts
Assist members with Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
Support legal account needs such as power of attorney, guardianships, conservatorships, and death claims
Help members with home banking access and debit card setup
Manage account inquiries, fraud issues, and service troubleshooting
Answer member inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Deliver consistent, friendly greetings and immediate acknowledgment to all members
Operational & Administrative Duties
Process wire transfers, stop payments, travel notices, address changes, and check orders
Provide administrative and clerical support to loan processing functions
Prepare, assemble, and send loan packages
Maintain organized filing systems and retrieve required documentation
Communicate with members and internal teams in the absence of loan officers
Update interest rate sheets and related system information
Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
No Saturdays at this time
One-hour lunch and one 15-minute break (team-managed)
Training & Onboarding
On-site branch training
Initial onboarding includes paperwork and job shadowing
Hands-on, manager-led training approach based on learning pace
Online training platform available for regulatory and system education

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.
