Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description
This Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for generating, designing, and revising 2D electrical detail/schematic drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and production assembly drawings (PADs). The primary focus will be on designing wiring schematics and harness drawings using AutoCAD, and electrical components on SolidWorks. This role requires a strong experience in electrical design with high proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. In addition to design work, the engineer will collaborate with the shop floor to verify fit and function, ensuring that designs are accurately translated into physical components. The accuracy and timeliness of designs are critical for project success.
Responsibilities
Generate, design, and revise 2D electrical detail/schematic drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and production assembly drawings (PADs).
Design wiring schematics and harness drawings using AutoCAD.
Design electrical components using SolidWorks.
Collaborate with the shop floor to verify fit and function of designs.
Ensure designs are accurately translated into physical components.
Essential Skills
- Experience designing electrical harnesses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Certified SolidWorks User (CSWP).
Work Environment
The role is based in the engineering building, working alongside other engineers. The primary work will be at a cubicle with some interaction on the shop floor to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot issues. The project involves collaboration with a team of 10 engineers, including Design Engineers and Electrical Engineers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $46.00/hr.
