What this job involves
Clean and sanitize facility, assist with inventory control and security, enforce, and support all policies set forth by management including safety procedures.
Work Schedule
The employee will be assigned to 3rd shift, M-F from 10:00pm - 6:30am
What is your day to day?
Responsibility for cleaning and sanitation of GMP regulated area
Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors.
Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers, and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
Document cleaning activities on daily logs.
Turn off lights in vacant rooms.
Use hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
Assist with inventory control as needed.
Enforce and support policies established by management.
Follow safety procedures.
Report safety concerns to supervisor.
All other duties assigned.
Physical Job Requirements
Ability to operate equipment as needed.
Ability to perform all duties in a timely and effective manner.
Ability to stand for long periods of time on a regular basis.
Must be able to adequately perform required job functions. This includes being able to lift, bend, and move in such a way as to perform job tasks in a safe and approved manner.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent
Prior custodian and janitorial experience
Knowledge and ability to comply with GMP standards and safety procedures
Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
Desired Qualifications
Able to work in a customer service environment interacting with the client.
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Proficient with computer-based systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
