Industrial Maintenance Technician
Ultimate LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support operations at a leading aerospace facility located in Whitehall, Michigan. This role requires candidates to be open to relocation to the Grand Rapids area and offers the opportunity to work in a highly technical, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with CNC machines and industrial equipment, with a strong focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial and manufacturing equipment, including CNC machinery critical to aerospace production. You will utilize precision measurement tools to diagnose issues, perform accurate repairs, and ensure optimal system performance. The position requires a strong understanding of industrial systems, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems to minimize downtime.
As part of Ultimate LLC, you will be expected to uphold high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site. Additional responsibilities include supporting and mentoring less experienced technicians or apprentices, maintaining compliance with all safety policies, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial equipment or CNC machine repair and maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience using precision measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts
Comfortable working in confined spaces and around loud equipment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Capable of working in varying environments, including hot and cold conditions
Able to safely navigate uneven terrain and active industrial job sites
