Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Straightening Press Operator to join their team. As a Straightening Press Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Straightening Press Operator
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: Based on experience
Shift: 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, overtime is scheduled on Friday
What's the Job?
Inspect parts for straightness and straighten warped parts to print specifications
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists safely and efficiently
Set up and operate equipment following all safety guidelines
Utilize work orders and QC packets to ensure accurate work completion
Read and interpret blueprints, make necessary machine adjustments for continuous production
What's Needed?
At least 1 year of related experience or training in manufacturing or a similar field
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
