Our client, a global automotive manufacturer , is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Testing Operations Department , supporting mechanical design, testing, fabrication, and engineering development teams .
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving ability , excellent communication skills , and leadership/mentoring strengths , which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $34.64 - $39.59 per hour
What's the Job?
Review and approve technical drawings, sketches, and project instructions for fabrication and testing.
Supervise tests of mechanical components and complete units , analyzing results and adjusting equipment to meet specifications.
Plan and approve fabrication, assembly, and testing requirements for mechanical systems and redesigned components.
Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery, equipment, and measurement instruments.
Communicate and approve design, manufacturing, and drafting changes with engineering staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
What's Needed?
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field (required).
8-10 years of mechanical technician or engineering technician experience.
Ability to read, interpret, and approve blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications .
Strong ability to perform mechanical calculations, create sketches, and develop engineering drawings .
Proficiency with computer applications and design software related to engineering; strong metrology and testing skills.
