LimnoTech has an opportunity for a software developer to support the design, implementation, and testing of web-based applications and database systems for our clients. The selected candidate will be based at our corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor. Come work with us! Responsibilities The engineer or scientist hired will work closely with other team members to support a variety of project work. Responsibilities are expected to include:
Supporting the design, implementation, and testing of web-based applications and database systems.
Developing, modernizing, and maintaining client web applications and APIs (.NET, Python, etc.).
Supporting the design, implementation, and testing of decision support tools, project tracking dashboards, and AI-based tool(s) in support of LimnoTech clients and internal operations.
Development and maintenance of data management system and dashboards.
Supporting modern, reproducible workflows for water data analysis and hydrologic modeling, model automation, and application of Machine Learning techniques for data analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited university program is required.
Motivated self-starter, with strong problem-solving skills, ability to quickly learn new software tools and skills, and ability to work independently.
Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of multiple web and desktop software development frameworks (e.g., .NET, React) and programming languages (JavaScript/Typescript, C#, Python, SQL, etc.).
Strong working knowledge of AI tool development and use of AI to support programming and software development workflows.
Ability to work efficiently on implementation and testing for both frontend (UI development) and backend (database/server) systems.
Must be legally able to work in the U.S. for any employer (proper documentation is required).
