Join us working onsite in Dearborn, MI as a Storage Services Analyst to support a global storage services environment with responsibilities spanning service operations, planning, coordination, reporting, and infrastructure support. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working across both business and technical teams, managing priorities in Jira, supporting asset and capacity planning, and helping drive the ongoing expansion and adaptation of storage services.
In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of activities including planning and tracking work, supporting financial and capacity reporting, coordinating hardware lifecycle activity, and assisting with installation, connectivity, and troubleshooting within a server-connected environment. This is a strong fit for someone who is organized, analytical, collaborative, and interested in supporting both operational execution and future planning in a storage services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Storage as a Service (StaaS) and Data Protection as a Service (DpaaS) environment
Assist with Jira planning and tracking of epics, user stories, and tasks
Support asset management activities, including leasing and service contracts
Assist with current and future planning activities supporting the global expansion and adaptation of storage as a service
Assist with installing new hardware and removing end-of-life equipment
Help plan and install fiber connections to new devices when needed
Complete connections originating from server team requests
Provide ongoing troubleshooting for the server-connected environment
Support financial and capacity planning and reporting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of IT experience
Experience with Jira
Understanding and desire to learn Ford financial processes and methodologies
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Ability to analyze complex data and present findings to management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of business and IT management
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating integrity in all actions
