ICFS Detroit is a new facility looking to employ Certified Addiction Counselors (CAC) to provide counseling and recovery support services to individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
Qualifications
• Current certification or license as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC),
CADC, or equivalent credential recognized by the State of Michigan.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use treatment, including
Relapse prevention and motivational interviewing.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance providers such as Molina,
Meridian, Optum, and Aetna.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to manage caseload effectively while maintaining compliance with documentation standards.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards of care.
The Certified Addiction Counselor will provide hybrid/part-time services in both individual and group settings. The role requires active engagement with clients, regular documentation, and participation in treatment planning with the multidisciplinary team
Pay:
$40.00 an hour.
