About This Opportunity
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
STARTING PAY RATE: $ 23.75/hour
Earn an additional $0.75/hour shift premium for pm hours worked.
PM Relief Shift,
Normal schedule is 7:00PM - 3:00AM Monday - Friday.
Relief position will cover weekend PTO for other maintenance technicians.
Holiday work is required on a rotating basis

Your future career is at Foremost Farms USA! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician at our facility in Greenville, Michigan.
SCHEDULE
Opening available for a PM relief shift
Normal schedule is M-F; 7pm-3am
Relief position will cover weekend PTO for other maintenance technicians
Holiday work is required on a rotating basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in the dairy and food processing equipment preferred
Knowledge of GMP's and OSHA is highly desirable
Tig welding or sanitary 3A welding experience is a plus
Prior PLC experience is helpful, programming and troubleshooting
Prior experience with boilers, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, and motors
Mechanical ability, basic fabrication, hand tools, disassemble/assemble equipment
Able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures
Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
Experience with single phase and three phase power helpful
Must complete a general maintenance exam
Participation in a team environment
Must be detail oriented, willing to learn
Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
Must be at least 18+ years old
Willing to use a forklift and scissor lift (training is provided)
Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations
RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation/repair of motors, valves, and pumps
Welding of stainless steel
Maintenance chillers, boilers, and air compressors
Assist with regulatory inspections
Preventative maintenance
Record keeping
Electrical troubleshooting
Pneumatics
Instrumentation
Basic HVAC maintenance
Maintain other manufacturing equipment
Other responsibilities as needed
