About the Opportunity
TEKsystems is seeking Healthcare IT Support Technicians to join a Level 2 support team within a 24/7 healthcare environment. This role focuses on providing technical support to end users across multiple systems, devices, and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 IT support via phone, email, chat, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Support healthcare systems and applications (including EMR platforms)
- Manage tickets using ServiceNow ITSM or similar systems
- Assist users with VPN, Citrix, and remote access issues
- Support devices including laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Utilize knowledge bases to resolve issues and document solutions
- Create and update technical documentation
Preferred Technical Skills
- ServiceNow (ITSM ticketing system)
- Windows OS and Apple/Mac systems
- Remote Access VPN and Citrix environments
- Epic EMR
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
- Multi-factor authentication tools (Duo, Microsoft Authenticator)
- SharePoint and collaboration tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT support experience (preferably in healthcare environment)
- Experience in a 24/7/365 help desk or service desk setting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience supporting remote users and enterprise systems
Work Environment
- Fully onsite role in a healthcare/enterprise setting
- Fast-paced, high-volume support environment
- Rotational or extended hours may apply (24/7 operations)
