Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated CNC Programmer and Operator to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the production department, you will support the manufacturing process by ensuring precision and quality in every part produced. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator
Location: Traverse City, MI
Pay Range: $22-28/hr
Shift: 1st (6:00am - 2:30pm)
What's the Job?
Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts to specified tolerances and finish.
Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to ensure accuracy.
Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and securement for optimal machining.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
What's Needed?
At least 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. - REQUIRED
Strong understanding of G-code and editing capabilities. - REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Proficient with measuring tools and quality control procedures to ensure precision.
