About the Opportunity
Smurfit Westrock is a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions. As a Production Team Member, you will support warehouse and production operations by fulfilling orders, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely shipment preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and process orders using pick tickets
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse equipment
- Accurately select items based on size, quantity, and quality requirements
- Inspect and verify products before shipment
- Pack, wrap, and prepare orders for delivery
- Transport materials to shipping docks using proper equipment
- Stage orders for accurate and timely delivery
- Assist with inventory stocking and counts
- Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of warehouse, production, or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs intermittently
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform repetitive physical tasks safely
Work Environment
- Warehouse/production setting
- Exposure to moving equipment and materials
- Safety-focused environment with required PPE
