Job Summary
Stevens Glass is seeking an EXPERIENCED, dependable and detail-oriented Auto Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Greater consideration given to applicants with commercial vehicle glass replacement experience. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove and replace damaged windshields, side windows, and rear glass
- Prepare vehicle surfaces and apply adhesives according to safety standards
- Install auto glass following manufacturer specifications
- Ensure proper sealing and structural integrity
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior auto glass installation experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and technical instructions
- Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in both shop and mobile service environments
