About the Role
Locat ion: Saginaw, Michigan (Majority Remote)

As a Research Specialist at Morley, you'll design, improve and support reporting and data systems that help teams make smart decisions. You'll review reports, spot trends and issues, and turn raw data into clear insights for leaders, operations, sales teams and business partners.
You'll work on meaningful, real-world data projects, build strong technical and business skills, and have the flexibility of a hybrid role (mostly remote with limited on-site time).
What You'll Do
Review operational and system-generated reports with strong attention to detail
Interpret data and share insights with internal teams, leadership, sales and external partners
Design, implement and maintain data collection systems and processes to improve data quality (including non-systematic tracking, web surveys and calling platforms)
Identify, analyze, interpret and research trends, patterns, errors and inconsistencies across data sets and business units
Review operational and system reports to identify, troubleshoot and correct reporting, data or application issues
Partner with management and operations to understand workflow, prioritize reporting needs and support decision-making
Create and maintain clear documentation for reports, charts, data collection steps and application logic
Work with software vendors and internal partners on troubleshooting, system upgrades and advanced application development as needed
Deliver organized, accurate and timely data, reports and ad-hoc analyses based on requests from leaders, business units and client contacts
Support leadership and sales teams by delivering reliable insights and well-structured reporting
Define and recommend process improvements related to reporting, analysis and data collection
Use tools like SQL, Oracle, complex formulas and data-driven applications to complete analysis and reporting
Support projects using Voxco, LimeSurvey, Web Surveys, Five9, Excel, PowerQuery, Power BI / PBIRS and Office365 (including OneNote for documentation tracking)
Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, external partners and client contacts
Hybrid Schedule
This is a hybrid role. You will work from home most of the time, and will work on site at our Saginaw, Michigan, campus approximately once per month.

Skills for Success
Required Skills
Strong PC and web skills, including Microsoft Office
Basic programming skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for advanced web survey design
Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, Excel, VBA, PowerQuery and Power BI
Strong business sense for interpreting and analyzing data, with a solid attention to detail
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with individuals and large groups
Excellent interpersonal skills
Positive self-starter with strong organization skills, a solid work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
Process-focused mindset with proven results improving workflows
Eligibility Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a related role (data, reporting, research, analytics or similar)
Able to work on site at our office in Saginaw, Michigan, when needed (occasional)
Able to work the following schedule:
Monday - Friday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern time
Flexible to support after standard work hours or on weekends if needed to accommodate client / program schedules
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with call centers and data collected through inbound / outbound dialer systems
Experience with tools such as Voxco, LimeSurvey, Web Surveys, Five9, Oracle and PowerBI / PBIRS
