Dowhas an exciting and challenging opportunity for aDigital Innovation Security Specialistwithin ourGovernance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) & Data Privacy teamlocated inMidland, MI.
Responsibilities / Duties:
This role will guide the GRC & Data Privacy's security strategy to enable rapid digital innovation in a safe, secure, reliable, and sustainable manner.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver timely solutions to our stakeholders, specifically focused on Security and DevOps best practices.
Guide GRC & Data Privacy on how to utilize different environments including Sandbox, Non-Prod, and Prod.
Accountable for DevOps and Security areas of the team's Application Lifecycle Management.
Collaborate with fellow developers and architects to enable applications to be supportable and scalable by aligning to technology roadmaps.
Experiment and prototype new ideas rapidly to evaluate their potential impact and feasibility.
Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges and obstacles, transforming them into opportunities for innovation.
Communicate complex technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and progress.
Identify opportunities for innovative solutions by staying updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Agility to quickly respond to new and changing requests.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degreeorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 rankingorCanadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
General knowledge of Information technology work process, methodologies, and tools
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree discipline in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Security, or a related information field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in modern software development leveraging the following: Cloud (Azure/AWS Platforms)
DevOps (Azure/GitHub)
Scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
SQL /No-SQL
Design Patterns
Security principles and best practices
Data encryption and data management
Authentication and Authorization
Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 security risks
Familiarity or experience with Security Threat Modeling concepts
Recent experience in an Agile software development environment leveraging methodologies , work process and toolsets (Azure DevOps) geared towards Scrum.
Excellent Leadership & Communication Skills.
Exposure to Design Thinking and Human Centered Design.
Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub; Experience deploying code, managing artifacts, release pipelines, branching strategies, and secure code.
Experience with Common Azure Cloud Services: Azure App Services, Active Directory, App Insights, SQL, Functions, Containers, Data Factory, Azure ML, API Manager and more.
Experience with application testing (Integration/Functional/End-to-end).
Your Skills
SAP BW 7.5 on HANA Development:Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, transformations, and performance tuning within BW 7.5 on HANA.
Modern SAP Platform Proficiency (S/4HANA, SAC, BTP):Skilled in next-generation SAP technologies, supporting migration efforts and building scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
Cloud Data Integration (Azure, Databricks, Synapse, ADF):Ability to integrate SAP systems with cloud data platforms using Azure services and Databricks to enable hybrid SAP-cloud architectures.
Performance Optimization & Solution Engineering:Strong capability to optimize BW data flows, improve data reliability and security, and translate high-level solution designs into production-ready implementations.
Communication, Collaboration & Agile Delivery:Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience contributing in agile or hybrid project environments.
