Bigard & Huggard Drilling is currently hiring experienced floorhands/roughnecks to work on our drilling rigs. 

Seeking experienced oil & gas drilling rig floorhands/roughnecks:

Responsibilities:

• Safety first - always performs duties in a safe manner.
• Floorhands will handle drill pipe, drill collars, kelly, slips and tongs on the rig floor when making or breaking a connection, 2 floorhands work the floor for these operations.
• Assists the derrickhand in mixing drilling mud, or lost circulation materials - 50-100# lifting requirement.
• Assists with maintenance and repair of rig machinery, accessory equipment and the derrick.
• Misc. duties including lubricating the machinery, cleaning up and placing tools in their proper place, racking pipe, scrubbing and painting and helping the casing crews when running casing. 

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE OIL & GAS DRILLING RIG EXPERIENCE.  Will consider service and water well experience. 

• Required to have reliable transportation to get to and from rig location

   

• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen and safety training

Wages:

• Wage range $21.00 to $23.60 per hour depending on experience
• $140.00 per day per diem
• Weekly payroll
