Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with painting and prepping booths using spray painters and pressure pots.
Responsibilities
Assist with painting and prepping booths using spray painters and pressure pots.
Perform tasks related to carpentry, framing, door installation, and sheet metal work.
Utilize HVLP/Pressure Pot techniques for industrial painting.
Operate spray guns and work within paint booths.
Sand surfaces and prepare them for painting.
Essential Skills
Experience in labor-intensive work.
Proficiency in paint prep and painting techniques.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Skill in reading a tape measure.
Competence in using basic hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of construction processes.
Understanding of carpentry and framing techniques.
Experience in industrial painting and paint booth operations.

Work Environment
This position is based in a shop environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter but has good ventilation to ensure comfort during work hours. The role requires working from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
