Job Title: Construction Operator
Job Description
Join a dynamic team in a concrete block producing shop where you will operate automated machinery to produce brick pavers, concrete blocks, cinder blocks, and other construction and hardscaping materials on a 2nd shift. You will receive training on inspecting blocks, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting machinery. This role involves physical tasks such as shoveling dirt, concrete, and rocks, and requires comfort with heights. Training may take up to a year.
Responsibilities
Operate automated machinery for producing concrete and hardscaping materials.
Inspect blocks for quality assurance.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery.
Handle physical tasks such as shoveling dirt, concrete, and rocks.
Work at heights when necessary.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction labor (minimum 6 months) including masonry, concrete, asphalt, hardscaping, landscaping, or demolition.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools.
Comfortable lifting 80-100 lbs.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude for understanding how things work, making repairs, and troubleshooting.

Work Environment
The work environment is mostly indoors with some outdoor tasks. It is a loud, shop/factory setting where you will get dirty working with various materials. The team runs lean with five people per shift, primarily working inside, but also supporting work in the outside yard.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.33 - $23.33/hr.
