Responsible for improving revenue results by taking a global view of clinical and financial processes, functions and interdependencies from the provision of patient care to final bill generation; support the development and implementation of comprehensive programs to collect data and effectively report information to a variety of customers, including physicians, other clinical service hospital leaders, and physician groups; support the needs of the Revenue Integrity Team through the use of data, system reports, and analytics; optimize charge capture and revenue cycle processes by validating, evaluating, and trending large amounts of data for presentation to all levels of the organization; collaborate with leadership to increase efficiencies, reduce variability, reduce errors/defects, and involve all appropriate personnel; communicate regularly with Management on specific projects; generate reports and support comparative data base assessment and maintenance regarding strategic and operational performance for performance review, operational effectiveness and improvement efforts; utilize and apply knowledge of Power BI, SQL, healthcare data analysis, SAS, R, statistical testing, SPSS, EMR Systems, HIPAA/HITECH regulations, Advanced Excel, and Data Visualization to perform assigned duties; collaborates with clients to define project goals and objectives, determine information needs, and to develop a process to deliver relevant alternatives; integrate data from multiple sources to develop reports and other information tools; and provide necessary data analysis to support quality initiatives and measurement from both a cost and a clinical perspective.

Salary: $70,000 per year
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Health Analyst Intern, as a Health Analyst, as an Analyst, as a Health Information Management (HIM) Technician, as a Community Health and Well-Being Intern, as an Intern, or in a related occupation;
