Job Title: Assembler - $16.50 - $18/HR
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in a dynamic production environment. As an assembler, you will be responsible for following detailed work instructions to assemble products, utilizing basic hand tools, and performing visual inspections. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of the assembled products, either passing them on to the next team member or placing them on a rack for quality testing. Additionally, you will be required to use a computer for reading and documenting materials, as well as scanning materials before and after assembly.
Responsibilities
Follow detailed work instructions for assembly processes.
Utilize basic hand tools for product assembly.
Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
Pass assembled products to the next team member or place them on a rack for quality testing.
Use a computer to read and document materials and scan materials before and after assembly.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
6+ months of hand tool experience, including the use of screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and screw guns.
Basic computer skills, specifically proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical experience, such as changing oil or tires, car maintenance, or home renovations.
Soldering experience with tools and repairs to electronics, such as computers or phones.
Experience in circuit board assembly.

Work Environment
Work in a 'clean room' style production environment where all floor workers wear special shoe inserts to remove static charge and protect equipment. With over 50 people on the floor at any given time, safety and organization are priorities, with clearly labeled restricted work areas and designated walkways. As a project-based company, meeting deadlines is essential, and teamwork is highly valued. The available shifts are 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with the possibility of Saturday and Sunday work. Employees are compensated with overtime pay for Sunday shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
