Job Title: Paint Prepper Job Description
Contractors will train and work on the day shift with flexible hours between 5:00 am and 2:30 pm. There is also an opportunity to work a second shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, which may extend to 1:30 or 2:30 am, with an additional shift premium.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare surfaces for painting.
Prepare paint for application.
Operate hand-held spray guns to apply various types of paint.
Operate portable powder coat equipment.
Apply primer and other coatings according to paint specifications and blueprints.
Disassemble and re-assemble paint equipment for cleaning.
Essential Skills
Experience in painting and industrial painting.
Proficiency with spray guns and paint booths.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints.
Experience in cleaning surfaces, metal prep, sanding, and polishing.
Primer application skills.
Capability to assemble and disassemble paint equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Full participation in the Quality System.
Adherence to safety guidelines and wearing proper protective equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and ladder climbing.
Preferably two years of experience as an industrial painter.
Knowledge of painting methods is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
