Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for our Shelby Township location
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely and thorough troubleshooting and repair
You will work on production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers, as well as facilities and auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, and reverse osmosis systems
Job Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers
Troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors, reverse osmosis systems, and general plant maintenance
Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and preventative maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues during shifts
Propose solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment to senior mechanics and management
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment
Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility equipment
Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with defined processes
Maintain industrial control systems
Essential Skills
4+ years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience on hydraulics and pneumatics
3+ years of strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including working with up to 480 volts and three-phase systems
Ability to safely and independently use a multimeter with a clear understanding of AC vs. DC current, electrical components, and basic controls troubleshooting
3+ years of strong root cause troubleshooting of machinery and HMI interpretation

This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
