Job Title: Production Worker - $16/HR - 1st Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you will receive work orders and parts from fellow employees and be responsible for assembling brackets and screens to create filters. The work is repetitive and requires standing for the entire shift. Flexibility to assist in different departments like assembly and packing as needed is essential.
Responsibilities
Receive and follow work orders and instructions.
Assemble brackets and screens to create filters.
Assist in the assembly department to meet customer product demands.
Pack filters into boxes for distribution.
Rotate between stations, with a primary focus on the spot area.
Essential Skills
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Capable of lifting 20 lbs repeatedly.
Endurance to stand on feet for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Work Environment
Our production facility is dedicated to manufacturing filters for HVAC systems. The environment can become extremely hot during summer months and is somewhat cluttered, requiring careful attention to surroundings. Our team consists of approximately 30 employees, working together in a single shift structure. The workspace is divided into sections for welding, assembly, and production. Dress comfortably to accommodate the working conditions and safety requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Baltimore, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
