Coordinate environmental audits, license renewals, registrations, and permit submissions with regulatory authorities. Manage enforcement follow-up, corrective/remedial actions, or voluntary disclosure processes as required. Collaborate with HQ in implementing EMS management requirements. Prepare, review, and submit compliance and regulatory documentation, technical files, and reports required by federal, state, and local agencies. Interpret and track changes in regulatory rules and standards; update company policies and procedures accordingly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance requirements are embedded in organizational processes and programs. Maintain accurate records and databases related to inspections, compliance status, filings, and correspondence with regulators. Ensure Company policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. Conduct internal audits on hiring, payroll, benefits, and workplace practices to confirm compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), wage and hour, and anti-discrimination laws. Provide guidance on sensitive workplace matters, supporting conflict resolution processes with fairness and legal alignment. Review, draft, and evaluate contracts to ensure terms comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. Identify and escalate contract risks related to compliance, liability, confidentiality, or employment practices. Support internal audits and investigations tied to contractual obligations and vendor compliance. Deliver compliance training across environmental, regulatory, HR, immigration, and contract management domains. Provide managers and employees with practical guidance on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
