Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: 500 Griswold Street, Suite 2600, Guardian Building, Detroit, MI 48226
Duties: Work with state-of-the-practice and some state-of-the-art experience in a professional discipline. Work with analytical techniques and modeling in tackling technical problems with some complexity. Provide a high level of technical performance within the state-of-the-practice and innovative thinking when opportunities arise. Keep up-to-date in technical knowledge of current and emerging practices. Develop and manage high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects and proposals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalency) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Junior VDC Engineer, or related role. Experience must include: Lead cross-functional coordination efforts between architectural, engineering, manufacturing, and field installation teams to ensure design intent and schedule alignment across construction projects. Track and manage fabrication schedules using project management tools (ACC, Procore, Microsoft Project), ensuring timely delivery and installation of prefabricated wall assemblies and components. Manage full project lifecycle workflows, including subcontractor buyouts, scope negotiation, change management, and billing oversight to maintain financial control and contractual compliance.
