B&O is currently looking for an experienced mechanical designer or engineer. This position has the potential of advancement into engineering manager.
What you'll be doing, but not limited too.
- Create 3D part files along with creating large assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed 3D and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials.
- Support senior mechanical engineers in the design and release of equipment.
- Assist with component sizing and selections (bearings,motors, cylinders, and structures).
- Review drawings for accuracy before they hit manufacturing floor.
- Work directly with manufacturing to assist or solve issues.
- Create complete manuals for equipment.
What we are looking for
- 1-5 years experience with SolidWorks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem solving ability.
- Detailed-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Ability to complete project with limited supervision.
- Experience in machine design and machining procedures.
- Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics would be a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
