We are a family owned trucking and transportation company looking for a reliable full-time local driver to join our team. This position covers local routes throughout Michigan allowing drivers to be home every day.
Important: this is a TOUCH FREIGHT position meaning drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading freight at pickup and delivery locations.
Schedule
- Start time typically 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- End time typically 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Local Michigan routes only
- Home daily
Pay
- Competitive pay based on driving experience
Requirements
- Valid CDL B license required CDL A preferred
- Clean driving record
- The ability to lift and handle freight (touch freight required)
- Dependable with strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company truck on local routes
- Load and unload freight
- Complete pre trip and post trip inspections
- Maintain delivery paperwork
- Follow all dot and company safety regulations
