We currently have an opportunity for a Hardware Engineer to work directly with our clients, where you will actively be involved in new electronic technology development.

What you will do:
- Design, develop, test and debug electronic circuits for customer products, navigating or developing their specific requirements and features in collaboration with customer needs.
- Provide technical electrical expertise at all aspects of product development life cycle.
- Design for EMI/EMC.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to design and develop high quality, highly reliable, and easily maintainable electronics/hardware/systems.
- Conduct and participate in electronic hardware circuit design reviews.
- Develop thorough customer design documentation and perform document feasibility and verification tests.
- Develop and execute test procedures on built PCBAs.
- Develop accurate project effort estimates for customer proposals or project scope changes by mapping out the steps to implement designed architecture.
What we need from you:
- BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or relevant degree from an ABET accredited institution.
- Experience performing electrical hardware engineering with high level of technical expertise.
- Skilled in board level design and analysis of both analog and digital circuits.
- Experience or knowledge in PCB design tools (xPedition, Altium, OrCAD)
- Experience with product development cycle from requirements development through test - including project deliverables timing, work flow, and gate reviews.
- Knowledge of production processes to ensure quality and robustness when working with a CM.
- Unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
What’s a bonus to have:
- Experience collaborating with certification bodies (e.g., UL, CE, FCC) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Salary information:
The annualized salary ranges below represent hiring guidelines. DornerWorks considers multiple factors when determining base compensation including experience and specialization of skills.
Early career engineer: $62,000 - $95,000
Mid – level career engineer: $95,000 - $118,000
Advanced career engineer: $118,000 - $156,000
