Purpose
The CFO Service Area 2 contributes to the overall management of Trinity Health's Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Georgia Regional Health Ministries (combined operating revenue of more than $7.8 billion ) by driving key strategies and financial performance as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This leader proactively works in a collaborative manner with other members of the Finance functional leaders, Senior Leadership Team and with Trinity Health System Office and Shared Service Organizations to improve financial performance and attain strategic goals and objectives. Provides financial stewardship and direction to the assigned service area through effective business leadership, strategy development, internal controls and operating and capital budget development, monitoring and management. Provides oversight of other market finance executives within the Services Area. Engages in enterprise level strategy alignment. Assists in evaluating the success of the company in achieving its goals and formulating plans to correct any issues if the company is not achieving its goals. Manages teams of senior professionals. Leads or engages in multidisciplinary projects or initiatives. Assisting in managing the company's finances, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and preparing operating budgets. The position participates with other senior management to address, interpret, resolve and monitor a broad and diverse range of financial, operational and strategic issues.
Responsible for the integrity of all financial information and reporting.
The CFO Service Area 2 will report directly to Trinity Health's EVP, Chief Financial Officer with indirect reporting relationships with the Service Area 2 CEOs.
