As an experienced Leisure Travel Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Inside sales position selling tours, cruises, travel packages, international programs insurance and more.
* Collaborating with clients to determine their needs and advising on appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, accommodations and cost
* Designing detailed itineraries
* Attending travel seminars to remain up to date with tourism trends
* Entering and maintaining data in ClientBase
Requirements
* A passion for travel
* A great attitude and efficient work ethic
* The desire to be part of a collaborative, fun team
* Excellent phone and customer service skills
* Strong “people” skills and proven work experience as a travel advisor
* Excellent understanding of cruises, tour packages and FITs
* Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
* Ability to sell international customized programs, tours and cruises
* Capable of managing a demanding workload, as well as following up with clients and providing a premium level of service
* Ability to multitask, assist where needed, maintain a strong attention to detail, resolve problems independently, and work well under pressure
* Impeccable listening skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment
