Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Technician
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay: $20–$28 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing low voltage cabling in new and existing commercial buildings, schools, and municipalities
- Terminating and testing copper, fiber, and audio/video cabling
- Troubleshooting systems and resolving technical issues
- Working directly with customers on-site
- Supporting senior technicians while continuing to grow your skillset
What You Should Bring
- Experience in low voltage / structured cabling
- Knowledge of Cat 3, 5e, 6, 6A, OM1–OM4, OS1–OS2
- Understanding of 25-pair color codes and fiber optic color codes
- Experience with category cable termination methods
- Familiarity with general construction practices such as stud placement, structural steel, and uni-strut
- Comfort using power tools properly and safely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work at heights

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle 60+ lbs including ladders, cable reels, and cabinets
- Frequent ladder work, walking, standing, and kneeling
- Experience operating scissor and boom lifts
- Ability to accurately differentiate colors
Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
