M.C. Shine Cleaning & Restoration, a respected name in cleaning and restoration, is looking to hire a Cleaning Technician to serve our clients in the areas between Clinton Township, MI, Macomb County, Mi & Port Huron, MI.

Job Type: Part-Time & Full Time Available
The Cleaning Technician will perform all duties of a Cleaning Technician such as heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, carpet cleaning, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Ability to perform Restoration Services. General Knowledge of invoicing customers on site, all equipment functions and maintenance needed (truck mount; all floor machines) and understanding all cleaning products used for janitorial services.
Essential Functions
- Cleaning carpets with truck mounted system
- Cleaning varies from other types of flooring with appropriate machinery.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.

Responsibilities:
- Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Utilize professional cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with restoration projects as needed (for those with restoration experience).
- Ability to work up to a 10 1/2 hour shift.
- Shift's vary from 1 day a week to 5 days a week.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Be able to adapt on the fly and be able to cover accounts as needed
- Must work well with other companies employees
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Must PASS a background check.
