The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.
Job Responsibilities:
Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.
Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma.
2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation.
Basic computer skills.
Summary:
The Sr Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment is responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for oversight of inventory management and communicating supply information and related needs to appropriate departments.
Assist with new hire and departmental training.
Provide primary support and resolution for escalated issues and challenging cases.
May conduct quality monitoring and audits.
May participate in special projects as needed.
May provide temporary backup to department Supervisor.
Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate.
Senior Level is a certified and/or licensed position (based on state requirements).
