Key Responsibilities
- Originate first mortgages, refinances, home equity loans, and related mortgage products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, realtors, builders, and community partners
- Guide members through the entire mortgage process with clarity, care, and professionalism
- Analyze application information to determine creditworthiness and product suitability
- Ensure compliance with all lending regulations, policies, and underwriting standards
- Participate in community outreach and represent Sunrise Family Credit Union at local events
- Meet or exceed loan volume and quality goals while maintaining superior service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of mortgage lending experience required
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting, and regulatory guidelines
- Proven track record of loan production and relationship building
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with LOS and automated underwriting systems preferred
- NMLS registration required or transfer of registration required.
