Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Under supervision, apprentices learn to read blueprints, install conduit and wiring, mount electrical devices, and follow electrical codes and safety standards. The role combines hands-on fieldwork with classroom training to develop the skills necessary to become a licensed electrician. Apprentices are also responsible for maintaining tools, keeping work areas safe and organized, and supporting the crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
