Salesperson Position
R Janus Supply, a janitorial supply retailer in downtown Port Huron, MI. We are seeking a personable, knowledgeable, detail-oriented and reliable Salesperson to join our team.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm / Part Time (32 hours per week)
Wages: Hourly with commission on repeat new (account) sales only.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in retail and wholesale sales
- Computer skills and knowledge are a must with current updates
- Order processing and entering invoices
- Maintain customer records
- Provide customers with ongoing product support and knowledge
- Required to perform new sales calls to generate future business on a daily routine
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss how specific products, services and systems can meet their needs due to an ever-changing industry
- Ability to learn knowledge of all products (chemicals, paper, floor machines, etc.) Study documentation or other information for new scientific or technical products
- Answer customers’ questions about products, pricing and availability
- Communicate with internal departments and external clients regarding issues or concerns with industry updates
- Poses superior skills in “sales”, this position can reward a comfortable income and base salary
