In support of this effort, the Ford Racing team is looking for a technical leader with passion for high performing vehicles. You will be responsible for the Raptor Products at FRAP.
Technical leader in Ford Performance to lead the builds and launch and quality plans for both internal and external suppliers to deliver high quality high performance Mustangs
Manage team of engineers covering the Plant Vehicle Teams, prototype build and supplier technical assistance.
Responsible for efficient and timely execution of prototypes for metrics of cost and engineering resources.
What you'll do...
Lead and execute of DCV builds.
Lead the Ford Racing Production Vehicle Launches for all prebuilds TT to OKTB
Coordinate delivery of all Product Development Metric on Launch Score Card
Co-Lead the Launch Jira / issues resolution process.
Coordinate carry-over issues with PVT Managers during launch
Lead the PPAP Metrics with Ford Racing Production Vehicle STA Engineer
Support the Ford Racing Production Vehicle Body Exterior team in PIST & Fit to Nominal execution to launch standards.
Quality from the planning to DCV checkpoint to FRAP capability assessments going prior to TT and validation on customer acceptance cascades to station and process.
Lead the Vehicle Quality Reviews for Ford Racing Mustangs at FRAP Monthly
Report on quality status weekly with daily claims, engage in the monthly roadmap and engage internal Ford Racing Production Vehicle engineers & peers along with external engineering teams to deliver the overall quality targets.
You'll have...
BS degree in Engineering required
Minimum of 10 years experience in Ford Plant Vehicle Teams or Product Engineering Support of OEM vehicle launches.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Engineering MS degree or higher
Working understanding of Functional requirements, failure mode effects, causes, severity and detection methods (DFMEAs)
Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations as well as clear/concise communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel to both Ford and supplier domestic and foreign locations.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
