Qualifications
All team members are expected to be technically competent and committed to continuous development of their skills. The following skills, knowledge and education or certifications are specifically required for this position:
- Associate's degree and three years' experience in related field such as education or human services; Bachelor’s degree in education, workforce development, social sciences or a related field preferred
- Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred but not required
- Experience in workforce education, career readiness instruction, youth development, or adult education preferred
- Knowledge of workforce development programs, career pathway models, or employment and training initiatives preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations, including youth, young adults, and individuals facing employment or educational barriers
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including data tracking and documentation
- Proficiency with computer applications and virtual learning platforms
- Ability to travel between MWSE service centers and partner locations as needed
Compensation: $20.81 TO $27.75 per hour.
