We are actively seeking an experienced Die Setter to join our press room team.
Responsibilities:
Install and set up progressive dies into stamping presses according to job specifications.
Adjust press settings (feed length, shut height, sensors, etc.) for proper operation and quality.
Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
Operate presses safely and efficiently while monitoring for defects.
Conduct minor die maintenance (sharpen punches, replace springs, clean components).
Troubleshoot issues related to die performance, material feed, and machine function.
Maintain accurate records: part counts, setup times, maintenance logs.
Follow all safety procedures; report hazards or malfunctions immediately.
Assist with continuous improvement for die setup, tooling efficiency, and production flow.
Perform other duties as needed to support production goals.

Experience with progressive die setup in a stamping environment
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand technical specifications
