As Sr. Manager of Energy Engineering, you will lead the team to manage the successful completion of facilities work orders and resolution of facility/equipment/manufacturing issues.
Build the strategy of the energy engineering program
Oversee the functioning, maintenance and repair of all building systems including mechanical, fire, electrical, boiler, compressed air and HVAC
Oversee capital projects and review with leadership
Oversee and execute preventative maintenance and issue maintenance contracts as needed
Provide technical information, engineering support and/or project management in the area of capacity and facilities planning and modification
Select and coordinate with contractors and vendors for building repairs, modifications and new construction
Manage the installation of equipment for new plant expansion
Manage activities of a team, including setting objectives, managing results, and evaluating/coaching individual performance
Develop and manage strategic planning with leadership on the progress of new plant
Coordinate maintenance work requests and purchase tools and materials for maintenance team use
Assist the Environmental, Health & Safety Team with technical information regarding building equipment
Approve, coordinate, complete work orders
Monitor and review all documented records produced during expansion of new facility
Respond to and/or organize teams to complete urgent/critical requests
Purchase and manage necessary spare parts as needed
Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing facilities management, construction, project management.
7 to 10+ years of experience leading a team and managing processes
Proficient with reading blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and other related documents
