Job Title: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to work with Homag Wood CNC Machines on the 2nd shift. You will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines, processing a variety of products for office and school furniture industries.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Homag Machines.
Perform changeovers and tool changes as required.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints for machining tasks.
Cut laminate boards, clean surface edges, and drill holes.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC machining.
Proficiency in CNC setup and tooling changes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with mill/lathe setup and operation.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a small CNC shop located in Saranac, situated between two farm homes that are part of the family business. The facility includes several large barn-like buildings and offers a unique rural setting with a family-oriented atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saranac, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
