Job Title: Robotic Weld Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Robotic Weld Technician to join our team within our dynamic weld department
The role primarily involves working with newer model robots, specifically focusing on Fanuc and Nachi systems
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of robotic systems, and demonstrate expertise in electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting within a robotic weld cell environment
Job Responsibilities
Ensure continuous production in the weld department, collaborating with maintenance teams responsible for other areas
Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting, including 120V systems, 24V sensors, I/O blocks, and power distribution
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Conduct PLC troubleshooting, focusing on diagnostics, I/O verification, signal tracing, and fault analysis
Troubleshoot industrial robots, with a preference for KUKA systems
Manage welding systems, including WTC, MAG Welding (Fronius), and Stud Welding (Ivo Stud)
Address mechanical issues involving pneumatics, valves, cylinders, fixtures, and alignment
Understand and implement safety circuits and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Handle industrial networks, specifically EtherCAT systems
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Robotic Weld Technician, with expertise in troubleshooting the person or Fanuc Robots
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, including pneumatics, valves, cylinders, and fixture alignment
Strong capability in electrical troubleshooting, specifically on Fanuc Robots
Knowledge of safety circuits and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, with familiarity in any brand, including German-branded systems

This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.45 - $35.45/hr.
