Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Channel Strategy & Patient Fulfillment Operations, is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, processes and procedures within the Channel Strategy and Patient Fulfillment function. This individual works with internal team members to evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions. Additionally, this individual will support external channel stakeholder activities by monitoring and tracking performance of operations to enable appropriate patient access to Otsuka's products.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage daily Order to Cash (OTC) operations, including but not limited to reviewing and approving customer orders in line with target inventory levels and contractual requirements, working with Tech Ops, Finance and IT to ensure accurate SAP set-up and reporting, and communicating orders and inventory levels across Otsuka leadership.
· Navigate key supply-chain events, including inventory stock-outs, NDC changes, new product and customer set-up, year-end inventory management. Work with Channel Strategy team to identify and resolve issues related to inventory levels at forward distribution centers.
· Manage day-to-day operations of Otsuka's Local Care Center (LCC) network.
· Identify operational inefficiencies across the channel function and streamline / implement solutions accordingly.
· Partner with internal operations and data analytics teams to evaluate root causes of patient access issues, identify solutions, and work with appropriate teams through resolution.
· Develop metrics and data insights to support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers, including pharmacies, wholesalers, and GPOs as well as internal Sales and Operations meetings
· Provide analytic support for Patient Fulfillment Strategy team, including compiling monthly readouts for key initiatives and identifying opportunities for program improvement.
· Support program improvement efforts for copay and adherence programs, as well as EHR programs. Create and present business cases to senior leadership related to these program enhancement opportunities.
· Develop and communicate key messages and materials to external channel stakeholders regarding product launches, price changes, etc. and route through appropriate systems for approval.
· Assist with department budgeting, tracking, and forecasting.
· Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders including Finance, Market Access, and Brand Teams regarding channel activities.
· Administer channel data reporting process across Otsuka's portfolio of products (i.e. 852 and 867 data).
· Identify data errors and work with data analytics team to resolve.
· Ensure the highest level of ethics, quality, and compliance by demonstrating in depth knowledge of laws that govern channel and access related work.
· Ensure compliance with all OAPI policies and procedures.
· Conducts all activities in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and company policies.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree
· Experience with pharmaceutical business operations
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains (3PL, wholesaler, pharmacy, etc.)
· Proficiency with SAP system (i.e. customer master set up, order management, and issue resolution)
· Three to Five years of pharmaceutical stakeholder/vendor management experience
· Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and in an environment of rapid change
· Strong analytical acumen
· Excellent written, organizational, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Travel (approximately 15%)

Minimum $134,615.00 - Maximum $201,250.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
