As a Process Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, updating, and implementing business processes that drive efficiency and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess processes, identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to optimize processes, and ensure compliance to our standards.
What you'll do...
Process Design and Optimization:
Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and development of intelligent approaches to areas for improvement.
Identify, map, document, implement, and publish complex organizational processes within Fulfillment, Planning, and Distribution, changes to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes by conducting periodic job reviews to ensure process adherence, specifically focusing on capturing and documenting legacy knowledge from resources to mitigate operational risks.
Facilitate continuous improvement and process innovation by providing fresh perspectives on process improvements / enhancements to legacy processes and pilot projects,
Identify process improvement initiatives and work with teams to implement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables of ad-hoc special request assignments.
Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to senior management.
Facilitate crisis event management, executive reporting, and corrective action plans during supply chain disruptions by developing management trackers, monitoring production variances, and assembling weekly status letters/reports for leadership.
Work closely with various departments, including MP&L Plant & Staff Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, IT, GDIA to ensure process improvements align with company objectives
Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on new processes and best practices.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including workflows and training materials.
Conduct regular audits/confirmation to ensure process adherence and identify further improvement opportunities.
Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency, effectiveness, and metric consistency.

Provide regular reports to management on process performance and improvement efforts.
Maintain and update department weekly, monthly, and yearly Performance Metrics ensuring accurate data and data visualization

You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience in process management.
Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
Experience with Optessa, SAP, SAC, Inventory Management, Scheduling a plus
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Value Stream Mapping and workflow tools (e.g., Visio, Six Sigma, Lean).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
