National Salvage & Service Corporation is an industry leader. National is seeking a hardworking Fuel Yard Operator for its Viking Energy Lincoln and McBain facilities. Must be punctual and capable of operating various machinery and performing preventive maintenance on various fuel handling equipment.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Operating skid steers, wood grinders, front-end loaders, and grapple truck (require climbing a ladder and operating from a seat approximately 12-15 feet above ground level).

• Perform preventive, corrective maintenance on various pieces of equipment as assigned by the Wood Yard Manager.

• Must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment

• Must have knowledge of basic tools.

• Collaboration with team members in a structured environment

• Consistent and accurate work quality.

• Filling out daily paperwork and working independently

• Wearing personal protective equipment is required

• All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

  POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

• Able to work long hours and some Saturdays.

• Must be able to work outside in ALL weather conditions. Company does provide outdoor winter gear.

• Must be willing to cross-train in all areas and on all equipment.

• Must process basic computer knowledge.

• Regular Daily use of company email is expected.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Follow all Safety Programs, Policies, and Procedures.
