We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and advancement of our broadcast and technology systems. This role ensures our facility's technical infrastructure runs reliably, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Description
Maintain and support all broadcast and technology related equipment within the facility.
Assist in ensuring compliance with FCC regulations and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Support the implementation of new technologies and upgrades to technical infrastructure.
Participate in engineering initiatives and technical projects.
Evaluate, install, service and maintain broadcast equipment and IT systems.
Collaborate with management and team members to achieve organizational goals.
Perform general facility maintenance as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills :
3+ years broadcast engineering experience preferred.
Proficiency in terminating broadcast and IT - related cables required.
Experience with Broadcast automation, systems, routers, video storage devices, SAN storage, satellite ground stations and DANTE is a plus.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to provide desktop support when needed.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and apply new technologies and best practices.
Willingness to work extended hours, including overnight and weekend as required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
